The trustees and founders representing the above groups, communities, micro-nations of indigenous peoples which exist as separate entities, hereinafter collectively known as ‘we’:
Do hereby pledge, on this day, the …. day of …. of the year known as ……. CE, that we, as individuals and as groups, communities and micro-nations of indigenous peoples, will strive, both separately and together, where possible, to achieve the following objectives:
1. To communicate, interact and cooperate with each other as individuals, groups, communities and micro-nations of indigenous peoples in ways which are positive, meaningful and supportive; so as to uphold, complement and enhance our relationships with each other, as members of Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples;
2. To contribute, collaborate on, and assist with, where necessary, appropriate, and when requested, to the extent of which we are able, the research, creativity, ideas, practical actions, tools, ideas and resources that we need, as groups, communities and micro-nations of indigenous peoples; in order that we determine, develop and advance our separate and shared economic, political, social, cultural and spiritual pursuits, beliefs, insights, constructs, systems and identities;
3. To recognise, support and celebrate the differences that we, as individuals and separate groups, communities and micro-nations of indigenous peoples, have in terms of our values, principles, pursuits, beliefs, insights, constructs, systems and identities; while at the same time remembering that we share many core values, principles and ethics;
4. To conduct ourselves, whether as individual trustees, founders, representatives, or members of the groups, communities and micro-nations of indigenous peoples within Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples, in ways which do not undermine the integrity, credibility or solidarity of Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples; and in ways which are reasonable, constructive and appropriate, especially in interactions with individuals, groups, organisations, authorities, corporations, micro-nations or nations which are not part of Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples;
5. To encourage, facilitate and support settlement of disputes through communication, mutual understanding and tolerance, between individuals, groups, communities and micro-nations of indigenous peoples both within and outside Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples; and to arbitrate when appropriate, relevant or when requested with a panel made up of at least one trustee, founder or legitimate representative from each of the founding groups, communities and micro-nations of indigenous peoples within Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples, and any outside representatives or participants, as is appropriate, relevant and practical for each situation;
6. To observe, recognise and accord, in the highest official capacity we are able, the distinct identity, legitimacy and national or international status, as relevant, of each separate group, community and micro-nation of indigenous peoples within Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples, when such recognition is requested, and as is appropriate, relevant and practical for each situation;
7. To facilitate, reinforce and promote the recognition, acknowledgement and acceptance of separate groups, communities and micro-nations of indigenous peoples which are members of Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples, or of Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples as a whole, by other relevant groups, organisations, authorities, corporations, micro-nations or nations which are not part of Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples, who have been approached by us, or have approached us for these purposes.
8. To adhere to, advocate and assert the ideals, truths and precepts of Natural Law, above all man-made laws, statutes, codes, rules and policies, as our shared and overriding core values, guiding principles and moral codes, for all groups, communities and micro-nations of indigenous peoples within Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples.
The spirit, intent, and provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding last forever, as long as the sun shines, the grass grows, and the rivers flow; Or until such time that it is dissolved by majority vote or other decision mechanism within a panel made up of at least two trustees, founders or legitimate representatives from each of the founding groups, communities and micro-nations of indigenous peoples within Fellowship of Indigenous Peoples.
